Despite facing a strong lineup of opponents, the DLSZ High School Volleyball Aspirants managed to bring home the 3rd Runner Up finish in the NCR Palaro Volleyball Finals from March 17 to March 21, 2025 held at Xavier School San Juan, Metro Manila.

The group represented Muntinlupa City at the NCR Palaro where 16 teams from both private and public schools all over Metro Manila competed for the honor to represent the region in the upcoming Palarong Pambansa.

DLSZ settled for the 3rd runner-up finish after losing to Las PiΓ±as-UPHSD in the battle for the bronze medal in the hotly contested match. The girls refused to give up, but their collective effort proved to have fallen short and eventually vowed to their rival. Nevertheless, it was both a humbling and a learning experience for the girls who promised to return to the same stage next year more prepared and more capable of winning the championship.

They are also grateful for the patience and able guidance of Head Coach Jeremiah Monreal and Assistant Coach Justine Alonzo, who prepared them for the competition, and who always believe in their capability to win and dedication to the sport.

The team is composed of the following:

Aislinn AlemaΓ±a (DLSZ 2027) Captain Ball

Kylie Rianzhel Celada (DLSZ 2029)

JTE Galimba (DLSZ 2030)
