The DLSZ Symphonic Band wonย Silver award in Division 2B of the 2014 Singapore International Band Festival last July 23, 2014 held at The Republic Cultural Centre, Singapore.
The 7-day Music Festival has various components – Competition, International Band Exchange, Workshops andย Outreach Programme ย to help promote band activities beyond schools and provide a platform where band members of all levels continuously strive for excellence by learning from the experts and through interaction with other musicians.
ย Twenty-Five bands competed in Division 2B composed of students 18 yrs old and below.
The DLSZ Symphonic Band is headed by Ms, Nena Chavez and Mr. Linwell Lalic, Band Conductors and Ms. Gladena Real, Music Coordinator.
