Philippines emerged as overall champion in the concluded 2015 International Mathematics Competition in Singapore, beating mathematics giants China and Taiwan last July 31-August 3. The Filipino team bagged a total of 31 golds, 60 silvers, and 125 bronze medals; and 83 merit certificates.
One of the recipients of the Gold Medal is our very own Carlos Benedict Echevarria ( DLSZ 2015); while Grant Lewis Bulaong (DLSZ 2016), Joaquin Nicholas Mercado (DLSZ 2017), and Chelsea Marie Echevarria (DLSZ 2023) took home Merit Certificates.
These DLSZ students have trained for Mathematics Trainers’ Guild (MTG) Philippines last summer.
