Kyle Ueda Bags Second Place in the AFSL Extemporaneous Speech Contest

Fumiya Kyle Ueda (DLSZ 2016) landed second place in the Extemporaneous Speech Contest during the Youth Leadership Congress held at Luxembourg Gym 1, Southville International School last January 17-18, 2014. The said congress was sponsored by the Asian Federation of the Student Leaders (AFSL).

With the theme “Empowering the Leaders of Tomorrow”, this two-day event was attended by different schools in the Philippines. De La Salle Santiago Zobel School contingent was composed of seven members of  the High School and Grade School Student Representative Coordinating Council (SRCC), four members of the Br. Rafael Donato FSC Night High School (BRafeNHS) Student Government, and eight members of MOVE (Motivate. Orient. Volunteer. Excel.).
Mr. Jesus Sulit Jr, SRCC Adviser, accompanied the group.
