Out of 53 participants from the 19 schools participated in the Summer Sumo Games 2017, Beatrize Ysabelle Escalona (DLSZ 2021) won 2nd runner-up in Sumobot 1kg β individual category. While Bianca Nicole Casimiro (DLSZ 2023) got 2nd runner-up also in the Sumobot 1kg β family category.
This event was held at the College of Engineering, University of the Philippines (UP), Diliman Campus, last June 10, 2017. This event was organized and hosted by Data Science and Technology Corporation (DSTC).
