DLSZ congratulates Aldrich John Kimwell (DLSZ 2027) and Joshua Milan (DLSZ 2027) for bagging awards in the 5th Challenge for Future Mathematicians (CFM) held in Bogor, Indonesia last October 27 to 30, 2018.
Aldrich and Joshua both received Silver awards during the Individual contest and placed First Runner-up in the team contest under the Middle Primary Division category of the said competition.
These two mathletes are part of the Philippine contingent selected and trained by the Mathematical Development Academy of the Philippines (MathDAP).
Challenge for Future Mathematicians is an international contest for primary to secondary students which started since 2014.Β It is an annual competition held in different hosting Asian countries with the aim of exchanging information, initiatives and latest applications related to mathematics across the world.Β Among the participating countries are Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
