The Grade School (GS) Counseling Office will be celebrating School Counseling Week with a theme, βTransforming the Lasallian Youth towards Success in Lifeβ.
In line with this theme, the GS Counselors/mentors will be focusing on mental health activities entitled, Project Happiness.
The Grade School Counseling Office has prepared the following events:
1. Talk on βThe Transformative Power of Creative Playβ for Pre-Kinder to Grade 4 parents/guardians. The talk will be held on October 18, 2019, Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Sylvia P. Lina Theatre. Our resource person is Ms. Jammy Malli who is a consultant in Developing Early Years Assessment Tools.
2. Project Happiness – activities aim to promote and heighten compassion for self and others through self-kindness, mindfulness, and connectedness. There will be several wellness booths/exhibits for our students to experience. This will be from October 22 to 25 at the Center for Performing Arts Lobby.
